I had a different very popular name brand lamp that was very similar in size and function that had several recalls so I jumped on the opportunity to swap it out for something else. This allows even more music functions for no subscription as my previous lamp did which is nice. It has tons of color options, rainbow, or just plain white, and you can set schedules which I started setting up immediately because we like brighter light for books and a soft red light for a nightlight. LOVE. Been using for over a year and a half now! Perfect nightlight and sound machine all in one! My son likes to change the color of the light sometimes, and has changes from waves to rain sounds to twinkle twinkle. Love the variety! Also convenient that I can adjust this as needed on my phone app and have had no issues with app connectivity. Ive used this everyday since my girl was born, we are on week 11 of using it and we currently use the light for night wakings, it is bright enough to see my room but still dark enough to not disturb my baby. The noise level is nice it gets pretty loud and real quiet. The app is also nice no issues connecting but if you do leave the house with it you will have to reconnect. This product far exceeded my expectations. Was just looking for a sound machine for my grandson but OMG I got so much more. There are so many more choices of sound to choose from. When I received the product was already charged and I was able to use it right away. There is also a light that when you tap the top it will change colors to the one you prefer. The cord length is long enough to keep the sound machine on the dresser and have plugged in. The volume is adjustable. It functions as advertised. The sound has a calming effect for my grandson.
